Remember, ACTIONS speak louder than words. Let’s work together to protect the environment.
Our buildings are CSR certified. We offer you a number of eco-responsible and sustainable initiatives, which will help you to gain points for your own CSR certification or, at the very least, demonstrate that you are concerned and actively involved in protecting the environment. Reap the benefits!
In February 2021, Campus Contern obtained the CSR label for these offices owing to its:
In your office, you can breathe fresh air which is as pure as the air in the woods… CAMPUS CONTERN is the only office complex in Luxembourg that offers its occupants a 100% natural environment, free from allergens and chemical pollution: nature purifies the ambient air thanks to a beneficial ecosystem, which fights indoor pollution 24/7, in all buildings. A 100% natural solution.
Until now, so-called green solutions have only been used for construction or renovation work, but this system makes it possible to go one step further from an environmental perspective and to have a direct and positive impact on the health and well-being of its occupants.

In practical terms, this means occupants can open windows, have maximum access to natural light, enjoy optimised circulation throughout the building and car parks, etc. The high quality of the building in terms of construction means that any corrective measures, and therefore costs, are minimised.
The equipment is perfectly sized to ensure quality performance and durability of the facilities. Thus, if the equipment is of good quality, not overused and well maintained, it will perform better, last longer and therefore cost much less to operate.
The whole site is digitised under the BIM (Building Information Model) system. Thousands of control points are available to ensure rapid intervention in the event of a problem. This minimises the damage and intervention time and, in turn, any potential disturbance to tenants.
Currently located in the basement, the 67 charging stations are available to tenants: what’s the point of opting for an electric vehicle if you can’t recharge it? More and more charging points are being installed across the country and in municipalities, but it is important that we also contribute to this trend and remove any doubts in the minds of tenants when it comes to weighing up the benefits of an electric vehicle.
Two charging points have been installed in the outdoor car park for easy access and to charge the Flex car.
Limitless travel: Blue Corner recharging cards also work on all the following networks: Chargy, Allego, Blue Current, E-Flux, Eneco, EV-box, Flow Charging, Greenflux, Has to Be, Interparking, Ionity, Last Mile Solutions (LMS), Luminus, Mobility+, Nuon, Optimile, Orangegas, The New Motion (TNM), Treeforce, Vandebron
We have installed solar panels on the rooftops of the buildings which produce green energy. In total, we estimate our annual production is 147,000 kWh, which represents 95.5 tons of CO₂ saved.
All of Epervier’s rooftops are covered with solar panels, giving the rooftop terrace a unique design.
Our tenant shime is the official representative of the MéGo! programme. They aim to recycle all collected cigarette butts and use them to create street furniture. This is an amazing initiative that should not only produce useful materials through upcycling, but also raise awareness of the damage caused to nature by the waste we produce. This is truly a ground-breaking cause. Did you know that a single cigarette butt can pollute up to 500 litres of water?
At Campus Contern, parking is not a problem in itself and almost everyone can use their own car. However, having access to a car is a comfort that is hard to give up… nevertheless, soft mobility solutions are available for everyone. If your staff get to work by train or bus, they can still get to appointments or run errands by using this shared electric car. It’s very easy to sign up to the scheme and the car is parked on site. It’s a practicable alternative to owing a private car.
Car-pooling is also a viable solution, especially when you work in a complex with over 25 companies and more than 1,000 people. Therefore, we have arranged two solutions to encourage car-pooling:
Firstly, via our app which is accessible on the screens in the lobby of each of the buildings: there is a part in the services section of the app that allows you to use the interactive screens to register a journey to and from a certain destination, at a particular time, on a particular day, etc. Once registered, the journey will be visible to other users and you will be able to get in touch with interested parties and travel together.
Or you can also visit www.copilote.lu. We have created a CAMPUS CONTERN community which works in the same way: you propose a journey and if someone is interested, they contact you. This initiative even extends beyond the Campus. You can car pool with other sites or companies in the Weiergewann area, such as Dupont and many more.
Car-pooling is cheaper, more environmentally friendly and, above all, it’s an opportunity to meet new people from the area…
This has been the norm for a very long time: we all know that we must reduce the amount of waste produced and sort it. We have set up processes to facilitate waste sorting across the site. Also, our restaurant is committed to using environmentally friendly, recycled or recyclable packaging only and to minimise its use.
We sort cardboard, paper, plastic, glass and household waste, as well as batteries, small IT equipment, household appliances and polystyrene, plastic film, etc.
We have made a long-term commitment to reduce the impact of waste on our precious planet.
