Mobility in Luxembourg – Contern Weiergewan is only 10 minutes away by train!

Planning for Soft Mobility in Luxembourg is ongoing: last December, CFL announced that Line 30 is now stopping again at both Cents-Hamm and Sandweiler-Contern stations.

A very good piece of news for locals but also for all the employees working in the Weiergewan Industrial Park: part of the upgrading work was to move the Sandweiler-Contern train station closer to the companies and to create paths to easily walk or bike from the station to work.

Sandweiler-Contern station is only a 10-minutes train ride from Luxembourg Central. Two train per hour stop at the station on this Luxembourg – Wasserbillig line but, at peak working hours between 6 and 9 am, 10 trains will be stopping at the station.

Great news to ease up the access to Weiergewan Industrial Park: workers can now choose to use soft mobility without compromising on speed, convenience and reliability.
