Campus Contern is very proud to announce that we have officially received BREEAM In-Use certification with an EXCELLENT score.
This is the logical result of our constant focus on BREEAM environmental guidelines during the design and construction phase of the buildings, but it is still a real achievement.
A few concrete examples:
- The windows open
- Access to natural light is maximized
- Movement within the building and in the car parks is made easier and safer
- The buildings are smart and only switch on heating and air conditioning when necessary, after fully ventilating natural heat, and they automatically switch off if a window is open to avoid wasting energy
- All lighting is energy-efficient and connected to motion sensors
- Carpooling and on-site services are implemented and encouraged
- Waste sorting is provided for
Most importantly, it is the guarantee for our tenants that their premises are designed for their well-being and with respect for the environment.
