Times are changing, and so are the criteria for well-being at work. Inowai and Paperjam conducted an interesting study as part of their Real Estate Observatory.

Chapter five is dedicated to this and… based on the testimonials, Campus Contern is definitely very well-positioned in the race for the best working environment.

The first criterion is obviously not real estate-related:

To feel good in your job, you have to love what you do and work in a benevolent environment with your colleagues; this is the first thing that emerges from the testimonials, and it’s only natural. Even if we obviously have no influence over this, we are still confident: rest assured of the great atmosphere that reigns throughout the entire Campus Contern.

This small study is very revealing of staff needs. Many professionals also agree that the choice of office now involves more people in the decision-making process. Thus, the CEO and CFO now invite HR to specifically guarantee employee well-being.

* Services:

“More than a beautiful in-house kitchen, I prefer surrounding services,” says one of the interviewees. At Campus Contern, you will have both: the rent of €22/m2/month including charges will give you the possibility of having a very beautiful in-house kitchen AND enjoying the many service options nearby and on-site.

The Contern area has changed considerably: we have a Njörd restaurant and a food truck on-site, restaurants and grocery stores less than 2km away, the only Grand Frais in Luxembourg, a brand-new gas station with catering and a car wash, bike paths to connect all of this, an autonomous shuttle to go to and from the station during peak hours, an on-demand service application that everyone can use as they wish…

It’s a lot, and we still have other ideas to improve all of this even further. Our tenants are also very creative and help us target truly useful services.

 

* Location:

Contern is a very interesting location: while remaining a maximum of 15 minutes from the city center, Cloche d’Or, Kirchberg, or the airport, the area remains accessible by car, train, and bus. A real advantage, especially since public transport became free.

From our site to Luxembourg Station, it only takes 15 minutes: +/- 10 minutes to get to the station and then a 5 to 7-minute train ride. Practical and eco-friendly.

We also have an excellent parking ratio that has become rare: 1 space per 25 m2 so everyone finds what they need.

 

* Socialization:

Campus Contern is like a family: companies interact, employees can find carpooling partners among the some 600 people working on-site, and our annual events are always very lively and pleasant.

We share our tips, group orders, and improve services thanks to regular opinion polls…

 

* Infrastructure:

Our buildings are BREEAM Excellent certified, windows can be opened, and the facilities are modern and well-maintained.

We are the only private site in Luxembourg with 67 electric charging stations, we provide a fitness room and a conference room for 100 people, a beautiful landscaped outdoor space, and even a beehive on the roof…
