To be well and productive at work, you have to feel good. It is based on this very simple premise that Campus Contern decided to offer 3 sports sessions per week to all tenants.

Discover the why, the how, and the result here…

#1 The WHY?

Why decide to invest in free fitness classes open to everyone? The reasons are manifold and ultimately very simple:

First, a desire from the owner: “ To be well, you have to move—it’s proven—but you also need to reconnect socially. So, with classes like these, we combine physical well-being with mental well-being. It’s important. ” says Marc Diver, owner of the site.

It is also in line with our CSR commitment, which makes us a socially responsible company where people’s well-being remains a priority. We are convinced of the benefits of sport for managing stress, so by setting up free classes, barriers fall and everyone can give it a try

Next, the ease of implementation for us: we are lucky to have the infrastructure that allows us to do it easily, and we already work with ForFit as part of our a la carte services: a team of health and fitness professionals, so the ideal partner was already found. (forfit.lu)

Finally, with the successive lockdowns, we wanted to restore the bond between people. Classes are provided in person, in compliance with safety rules. As remote work requires staff rotations on-site, we also offer a “live access” version to allow regulars to maintain consistency even if they are not physically at the office.

#2 The HOW?

To ensure we meet demand, as we often do when launching a new idea, we conducted a short opinion poll among all companies to choose the most suitable days and time slots for them and to select the types of classes to offer.

A hundred votes later, the schedule was set, tailor-made for our tenants.

Thanks to an interactive calendar, everyone can book the class of their choice directly online, without a user account: just enter your name/email and it’s done. Places are currently limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Athletes can also sign up for a waiting list to get a nice surprise in case of a cancellation.

It’s simple, managed directly by the coaches. This ensures optimal service and builds connections between coaches and participants: they can ask questions and interact directly.

#3 The RESULT

A great success:

– It has become a mandatory appointment for some! The schedule is well-filled for the weeks to come

– People are diligent and regular. Those on the waiting list are motivated and informed of cancellations

– A real connection with the coaches is established, extending the service beyond the class hour.

We look forward to the easing of government measures to increase the number of places, but we are delighted: a useful investment for our #feelgoodatwork which will, we hope, create good sporting habits within Campus Contern.
